On Wednesday afternoon in La Habra, at least seven students were injured when a car jumped a curb and hit them. The incident occurred around 1:40 pm near Sonora High School on N. Palm Street and E. La Habra Boulevard, according to CBS News. The students were standing on the sidewalk when two cars collided at the intersection. The force of the crash sent one of the vehicles over the curb, where it hit the group of students.

At the time of the report, police didn’t believe that DUI played a role in the incident, and that the crash may have been the result of one of the drivers running a red light. All seven students were transported to nearby hospitals for treatment, along with a driver who had also been injured. Their injuries were considered minor.
