On St. Patrick’s Day, there was a two-vehicle collision on State Route 78 that injured five people in Escondido. According to ABC San Diego News Channel 10, the wreck happened on San Pasqual Valley Road and 17th Avenue. Initial reports indicate that there were two children and three adults injured in the crash.   

At the time of the news report, there were very few details about the injury crash. We do know that at least two of the people, including one of the children, were severely injured. No information was released on the full extent of their injuries. Additionally, there was no word on the cause of this injury wreck, which is likely still under investigation with local law enforcement officials.
