On Sunday night, four people were injured following a three-vehicle crash in San Marcos. According to NBC 7 San Diego, the collision took place near South Santa Fe Avenue and North Rancho Sante Fe Road around 8:00 pm. A blue Honda SUV was heading the wrong way on South Sante Fe Road’s eastbound lanes when it crashed into white Toyota car and a red Honda SUV.

Two people in the red Honda SUV were transported to the hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries. Their baby, also in the car, was not injured at the scene. The Toyota driver was released after being evaluated by paramedics. The wrong-way driver was taken to the hospital with major but non-life-threatening injuries. At the time of the report, authorities were investigating if alcohol had played a role in the crash.
